The DM800 support the wireless card with a USB interface, it can be connected in LAN via wireless. Two accessories should be available when using the wireless network card: one is an AP, we choose TP-LINK WR541G to make up the wireless local area network; the other one is USB wireless card which can be compatible with DM800. How to choose the wireless network card
The most important for choosing a WLAN card is to balance cost and quality. You must ensure the WLAN card can work well with your DM800 and owning enough functions to meet what you request. In the example, we choose the TP-WIN321G made by TP-LINK which is a 54M wireless USB network card and compliable with IEEE 802.11b and IEEE 802.11g standers. The parameters are listed above would be considered when you buy one WLAN card.
How to set the WLAN card
Before you set WLAN card, you should insert Tl-WN312G card into the USB interface on the bake plane of DM800. Then switch the power. The follow is the specific steps to set the WLAN card.
1. First ,fromMain Menu ?blue panel ?set into?kernel module interface. Select 揥LAN RT73?to 搚es?the TL-WN321G the RT2571WF chip RT73 drivers, so select "WLAN RT73" to "Yes", then press Green key to save. The system will load the needed documents.
2. After loading is complete, from the menu ?set ?System to enter the network configurationinterface, select to restart the network.
3. After restart, once again return tonetwork configuration interface, and select the card will appear, press OK key to enter.
4. the screen will appearweb configurationinterface, select option scanto scan the WLAN. The available wireless networks will display under Choose a Wireless Network , choose one for DM800.
5. According to the information provided by the wireless network interface ,press the green button to enter the set.Wireless card setting up method is the same as the built-in integrated network card.
6. After setting, press 揙K?to active the settings. Soon later, it will pop up item that 搒econd NIC is disable??that is ask you whether forbidden the network card inside the machine, usually select 搚es?
